As our Friday Keynote Speaker, Benoit lead a talk about that in the new world of work HR departments are increasingly expected to become “experience designers” – i.e. ensuring that the physical, digital, and cultural environments enable employees to perform optimally throughout their career. A positive employee experience involves a higher level of personalization, transparency, simplicity, authenticity, and responsiveness in the delivery of HR services. Both within IBM and with our clients, we are now increasingly using AI-based systems to provide employees with a tailored experience. Flip through the slideshow below to see some examples of how organizations can initiate their own journey to transform their employee experience.

Benoit Hardy-Vallée consults with IBM clients to bring innovative practices, evidence-based techniques and digital best practices to HR leaders. As a consulting leader in the IBM Canada Talent & Engagement practice, he leads a team that develops strategies for digital change, HR cloud, HR reinvention, and Cognitive HR. Benoit has applied his expertise in organizations of all types, from Global 2000 to industrial consortia to public organizations. Through white papers and speaking engagements, Benoit has contributed to thought leadership and best practices sharing with IBM clients, and regularly shares his perspective on workforce science, engagement, and collaboration with various business audiences. With his wife Aurélie, he raises 2 daughters in Toronto, Estelle and Adèle. His personal and professional missions are the same: to create workplaces where they can have fulfilling careers.
