Next Thursday, November 16, is the 2017 HR Open Standards Consortium Community Meeting in Germany. This annual event opens up discussions to the European community regarding HR technology data issues and how they directly affect this community.
The topic of discussion is Data Privacy and the new European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Earlier this year, the HR Open Standards Consortium released its free JSON 4.1 standards to help comply with these new regulations. Jan-Willem van der Boom, founder of Manus Software, will introduce HR Open Standards Consortium and our mission.
John Kleeman, Executive Director and Founder at Questionmark & Tania Teetz, Product Manager at Milch & Zucker, will describe how the GDPR and other data protection regulations impact HR systems short and long term. They will also explain how HR systems providers and employers can work together to protect personal information.
Michael Wulf, Product Manager at SAP, will be speaking on proper data destruction and purging in connected systems.
Ingolf Teetz, CEO at Milch & Zucker and Sascha Juchem, Software Architect at Milch & Zucker, will be discussing the more technical side of data privacy and recruiting standards.
